Johannes (Hans) Bouwens (Hoorn, 8 december 1944), known under his pseudonym George Baker, is a Dutch singer-songwriter, best known for his group George Baker Selection with which he recorded hits like ‘Little Green Bag’ (1969) and ‘Paloma Blanca’ (1975)
‘Paloma Blanca’ was possibly George Bakers biggest hit. It reached #1 in the Dutch Top 40 on 19 April 1975 and stayed in the Top 40 for 14 weeks.
