COVID-19: Next challenge to "reset the economy", PM says | SBS News
Prime Minister Scott Morrison said the next challenge facing the nation following the coronavirus pandemic was to “reset” the economy and address post-pandemic mental health.
Speaking after a national cabinet meeting in Canberra on Friday, Mr Morrison announced $48 million in funding for a National Mental Health and Wellbeing Pandemic Response Plan.
Health Minister Greg Hunt said the plan was an important part of the national health response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and confirmed there were no known increases in suicide rates in Queensland, Victoria and Tasmania.
